Intimidation Tactics by the Police and the Rich Should Reinforce Our Efforts, Not Diminish Them

John Clarke, former major organizer for the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, recently posted on Facebook the following (for context, see the post Idealization of the Rule of Law Once Again: The Case of Indigo CEO Heather Reisman and Activists Against Israel’s Palestinian Genocide ):

The accusation that a challenge to a billionaire who uses her wealth to facilitate occupation and mass murder is somehow an act of hatred and bigotry is despicable. It is a vile slander and an act of political gangsterism.

The only viable response is to point the finger at the enabler of Israel’s crimes with even greater emphasis. Their lies and false accusations won’t stem the growing movement of Palestine solidarity.
